Just a few words to let all those curious souls know who I am, what I do, and where I’m headed.

My name is Sheri O’Connor and I am a self-taught web designer/developer. I live in central Ontario, Canada in a beautiful district known as Muskoka. I am surrounded by a landscape that is chock full of freshwater lakes, majestic pine trees, stunning deciduous forests and a mixed geology of Canadian Shield and fertile fields.

I am proficient, efficient or sufficient in HTML, XHTML, CSS, PHP, JAVASCRIPT and PERL languages. I create all my own graphics in PHOTOSHOP, ILLUSTRATOR and IMAGEREADY. I take my own photos for use in my sites and occasionally use public domain photos without restrictions. Designing and developing websites is my passion. It’s the creativity meets coding detail that spellbinds me.

This large project is the one I am spending all my spare time on. I am basically rebuilding an e-commerce shopping cart from scratch. I hope to have this completed in a few months.� MONTHS!?! Yup. MBMontessori is not just an informational website, it is a complicated dynamic website with a highly involved front-end and admin interface. The translation of the content into multiple languages is a huge undertaking in itself.
